Introducing...

Jude Francis!

Born on January 30th at 3:17am, which means . . .

Your prayers worked! He arrived before my doc went out of town. :) BUT, because God laughs . . .

Little Jude decided to arrive SO quickly, my doc wasn't able to make it to the hospital in time to catch him. Ha!

Despite that little glitch, it was still an amazing birth experience, which I'll be sharing just as soon as time allows. Stay tuned!

This little peanut was 7lb 8oz and 20 inches, which means he was actually smaller than John Paul, who weighed in at 7lb 15oz at birth. And here I was expecting an 8+ lb baby. Crazy!

Speaking of John Paul . . .

He's already so in love with his little bro. This morning, he excitedly exclaimed "JUDE!" when he first saw him. Heart-size doubled? CHECK! And then some. ;)

By the way, it was an honor praying for all your intentions throughout Jude's natural labor. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support! <3

    1. Ugh. Solidarity sister! Thankfully it all still worked out. Maybe not 100% according to plan, but all's good. Thank you so much for the prayers!

  6. Congratulations!!! And thank you for praying for our intention (can't seem to sign into my account on my phone, but I was the one who asked for prayers to help us overcome infertility). As someone who was born 10 min after my parents arrived at the hospital (delivered by a nurse and my dad, sans doctor!), I can tell you that Jude will love hearing about his birth story growing up :). Please let us know of any specific prayer requests for you as you transition to a family of four and parents of two (adorable!!) little ones.

    1. It was such a joy praying for you! I'm so glad you shared all the details of your story, and hopefully you'll update me as things progress! You seriously need to type up *your* birth story because that sounds crazy! My mom has a similar story with my youngest brother. Not 10 minutes after arriving at the hospital, but maybe 15? Crazy fast!

If you could pray for my Jude dude's mouth to grow a little bigger so that breastfeeding isn't as painful, that would be awesome. Thank you so much, friend!
