Silver Lining

The only nice thing about getting your period while TTC...

On your H and M days, you don't have sit on the toilet and hold it while trying to get a flat toilet papery wipe in before you pee.

(This will only make sense to Creighton users. Sorry to be exclusive. Not sorry for the TMI.)

In other news, today is my first day of Clomid ever. Hoping I can keep up the positive outlook and not turn into a Clomonster :)

  1. Way to find the silver lining! Also you can drink wine without worrying at all about maybe being pregnant...and you can play the "pamper me - it's CD1/2/3/4" card...not that I ever do that =)

  2. Sending positive thoughts your way! I think a little comic relief is always good when battling IF. We have to be able to laugh! Otherwise, there's just too much crying. Praying for you!

    1. It's the one break in your whole cycle from having to do the pee-pee dance to hold it in. I say it's a plus! :P

  4. You just made me laugh.out.loud. :) Good luck with the clomid. It can work wonders. What dose are you on? I started low and moved up to a higher dose before moving on to clomid/injectables cocktail back when we were working with our RE. But it made me ovulate and ovulate big time :) Prayers and positive thoughts your way!

    1. Yay!! So happy I helped you laugh. It made me smile when I thought of it, so I figured I'd pass it on. :)

I'm on 25mg, CD3-5, so a verrrrry low dose for now. I'm interested to see how it affects this cycle. So far I haven't felt any emotional changes, just sore breasts and a little extra tiredness. That I can deal with. We'll see where this takes us!

Thanks for the prayers. Back atcha! Hope you're feeling better and ready for heading back to school. :)
